To say I have an eventful day tomorrow is putting it mildly. Let's break it down:
8 AM: Friendship Games airs.
11:30 AM: New pony episode airs.
12 PM: Battle for Zendikar prerelease.
5 PM: Weekly gaming session I've been unable to attend for the past two weeks.
Update: 8 PM: Friendship Games airs.
And due to circumstances partially beyond my control, I may not be able to see the movie. Make that definitely not able to see the movie. So yeah, I won't have even seen any new pony come Sunday morning, much less have thoughts or cards to offer. Given who owns Wizards of the Coast, there's really only one thing to say on the matter:
I feel that pain myself. Hitting the midnight prerelease, then going to sleep so I can play a few games of Star Wars: Armada. And possibly X-Wing Miniatures as well. Or Imperial Assault. Basically it would not be inconceivable that I would just marathon the original trilogy while playing Star Wars games.
Pony will have to wait, since the timing is certainly not ideal.
The plan is to open 6 Expeditions, yeah?

I plan on three prereleases on Saturday and one on Sunday. I'm looking to collect all 25 Expeditions and all 68 prerelease promos. This will not be cheap.
Sadly, signing up for my actuarial exam has rendered me too poor to afford attending the prerelease as I had desired. At least I get to OD on ponies.
Easy solution: watch pony online.
My plan for the prerelease is to play a bunch of bears and out-aggro people while they're ramping.

New episode of Doctor Who also airs tomorrow, for those of you who watch that. I definitely watch that, so I'll also be pretty busy.
If I get to go, I'm running white or black because this set has so much removal compared to the last few sets (GRAH! KILL ALL THE SHIT!!!). If I can, I'll compensate with Eldrazi fat asses and if not, I'll go for green as a secondary. Stall long enough to get fat asses and fliers out.
Or run W/U and be that guy. I may not win, but I will make sure each round plays to time. What was that?! You finished your match and you wanted to start the next round?! TOO BAD!!!
Foamy, try attending a midnight release if any of your stores have one. Sure, you might get zero sleep, but that will free up your schedule a bit. I'm considering attending one cuz my family wants to celebrate my bro's birthday tomm. I have not even factored in pony. I'll catch it when I catch it.

But if I think of my strategy hard enough, that's what my sealed pool will be because of sheer willpower. Nothing but kill spells and demons and various evasive black critters.
In practice, the sealed pool turns out to be the exact opposite. It's like, I wish to play mono black, and I might be a bit open to splashing in red or green, but instead have to play G/W to utilize anything I pulled that's decent. I have to play hippie colours, the colours of the Selesbian Conclave (gag!). I shouldn't bitch and complain about those couple of times cuz I made it far, but still... blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack

Bollocks! It's a good idea to register for prereleases weeks in advance. You think I would've learned this by now, eh? C_C Yeah, I'm slightly boned for attending something. There's open slots at one shop that has a hefty entry fee. Guess I either go at three tomorrow or one on Sunday. Damn. I guess I'll go on Sunday seeing as how my bro wants me to come along tomorrow. The competition won't be as fierce on Sunday. Psssshhhh... any victory will be shallow. Until I run into the uber Spike...
It ain't helpful that I just found out that a store here in Calgary died. Trilogy Gaming Club closed its doors for the final time on Sept. 20, 2015 due to the Canadian economy being poor-assed. Quite disheartening. Also explains why like almost all the stores have no spots open; everybody who was going to a prerelease at Trilogy went and reserved spots at all the other stores.
The Uncle of Machines is totally prepared for this.
Anyways, when they run out of episodes... you might want to aim for that time between seasons. They won't stop airing episodes for at least a couple more years, I think.
As for AJ and Fluttershy... heh, green can be secretive and conceal crap, tutoring pivotal creatures onto the field. It can also actually run control, having enough overlooked destroy spells. It also has enough evasion, despite not being known for such (I'm planning on having a mono green EDH with Jugan as the Commander. It won't be a regular Timmy deck XD). AJ represents none of this, so I'm guessing you think she's more traditional with mana ramp and big hard cast creatures, honestly put on the field fr the hand?
Fluttershy is fascinating, cuz she takes on a role that's seemingly secondary. I mean, white has lately been known for selfless heroism. Before that, it was known more for extremism, zealotism, and being potentially more evil than black (totally looking at Azorius). I dunno. Fluttershy ain't like that at all. I guess Flutters would be represented as a healer like Orim?
Lemme pose an awkward question to you, Foamy. Do you ever see people, online and irl as representing colours on the colour wheel, too? Not just fictional characters? Somehow, I'm thinking this question is leaning a smidgen on dangerous.

I meant the Season 5-6 hiatus. I only have six episodes left in the pre-S4 backlog, so unless there's less than two months between seasons, I'm going to need to find something to do with my Sundays after that.
To be honest, I do see some people as fitting certain color philosophies. My mother, for example, is one of the whitest people I know. Organized, moral, judgmental, never wrong in her own mind... Much nicer than Heliod, though.
