Hello, Fimfiction. It's been a couple of months since I last blogged. It's been a relatively productive couple of months, though.
By productive, I mean that I nearly have the first two chapters of Monster Hunter: Equestria written up and ready for posting. I just have one scene left to write, and I'll likely finish that tonight or tomorrow. After that, it's just a matter of going back over what I've written and polishing it until it hits publishable quality.
It contains what amounts to the first fight scene I've ever written, aside from a silly short story I wrote seven years ago in high school. I'm rather anxious to see how people react to it, for good or for ill.
Unfortunately, the guy who had heretofore been my most reliable prereader, proofie, and editor is no longer available. If anyone desires to be bothered at odd hours with chunks of horse words over Skype to read and criticize, please PM me with your Skype name. If anybody wants to look over a couple chapters of an unreleased fic and harp on my grammar or tell me when something looks lame or doesn't make sense, please let me know over PM and send me your Skype name or the email that you use for GDocs. If anypony feels like cheering or giving me a metaphorical pat on the back for being about to deliver on a promise of horse words in the near future, feel free to leave comments below to that effect.

question, will it be a complete story. Because I know that you told me that you have a busy schedule, and updates can be rather annoying to wait for. Especially when people want to read monster slaying ;)

It won't be a complete story, but it'll be a good start. I plan to alternate working on MH:E and Desert Spice. Whenever I post a chapter of one, I'll shift to working on the other.
On the plus side, I've now taken to working on stories and other such creative endeavors in the evenings in between playing games with friends, and that seems to be doing wonders for my productivity.
Also, one monster does get slain in the opening chapter.
