Cubic Zirconia Fanart, part 2 · 2:57am Sep 20th, 2015
I probably could have posted this a few days ago, but I didn't want to get anyone irritated with too many blog posts in a short period, and I've also had a really long week, so I was generally pretty tired after work the whole week anyways.
After my last blog post, about Robsa990's fanart for Cubic Zirconia, he saw my suggestion for a scene I personally would like to see, and he decided to draw it:

Naturally, I think this is totally awesome, and he captured the scene well, even if Winona didn't make it into the picture. For anyone not familiar with Bloom County, that was my inspiration, with Cutter John and the reoccurring Star Trek spoof they had going:
Anyways, lots of thanks go to Robsa990 for this, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he draws next, whether it's Cubic Zirconia related or not...
Always nice to see some vintage Bloom County art. I trust you're reading the new strips that Mr. Breathed has been posting online?
As for the fan art, well... I'm a little jealous.

Oh yes. It's the absolute best thing to come out of Donald Trump running for president. Wish I didn't have to head to facebook for them, but I've been following them.
I'm a little jealous myself, honestly. I may be getting pretty good at tracing art from the show and inking and coloring other people's b&w sketches, but I wish I could draw like that from scratch. I'm making some progress, but it's slow. I'm really glad to see some of my scenes come to life in robsa990's pictures, though, and it's very flattering to realise that someone thinks highly enough of my story to draw scenes from it.

You no longer have to, actually.

That's the part I'm jealous of.

That's three comics behind, though. It's totally lacking in the cat twizzlin' department.
There is that...

Nice art, but the wheelchair seems to big for Apple Bloom to move on it by herself.
