Dazzling Shimmering Sunset

Looking out over Folsom Lake near Sacramento. Down here overnight on business.

While walking, an idea slammed me for what will probably be chapter 4. Which, of course, has delayed my progress slightly on 2 while I mapped it out. I'm pretty sure it'll be worth it, though. ;)

3352652 Ah, right on. I live a few hours north, just in town at a gov't health agency downtown in Sac for some work.

3352693 Thankfully, things are getting better with the fires. It's odd when a day looks overcast, but instead of clouds in the sky, it's just all the smoke overhead.

3354890 oh wow, are you getting smoke-looking (black) smoke? I live in the valley southwest of Sac and most of the smoke that's been cresting has been white.

But hey, this coming winter's supposed to be a doozy
