All right! Announcements first.
First of all, there will be no chapter update on Beyond the Borderlands this Friday. I'm taking a break to build up my buffer as well as give the readers a chance to catch up.
In the meantime, those of you who have caught up can continue to muse on where things are going from here. I've already seen some speculation in the comments, as well as some back and forth over Anubis and his objectives. You've got more time to sift through the rubble, now!
Second of all, don't forget the art contest.

As usual, you'll have until midnight, Thursay, to ask questions concerning Beyond the Borderlands, the larger Dusk Guard Saga, or things related to that. I can't promise answers (no spoilers), but I'll do what I can to answer things. Post your questions in the comments, but bold them with Question. On friday, I'll do my best to answer them.
Glad to see so many enjoyed Chapter 18. As I told the alpha readers when I wrote it, I'd had that scene in mind for over two years, coming up on three now. Reading your reactions ... it delivered.

Will we see changelings at any point in the future (BtB or other DG saga, not including crystal fae as they seem to be a variant)?
Is Annubis based off the Egyptian god of the afterlife which shares the same name? Are there any Jackals living (I mean, it said they were all dead, but they might not be...
)?
Will there be/has there been any cameos in the DG saga of other series characters?
How intelligent do you consider the Breezies to be?
Finally, what is the world's name?
I wonder how many of the ex-cultists are going to react when Sombra does come back and gets blasted by the heart? If there are any left by then.
Will the Dusk Guard ever turn up in Beyond the Borderlands? I mean, Blade and Hain and the rest of the gang are cool and all, but I think the situation that's currently going on kind of calls for the Dusk Guard to make at least one appearance.
Are the jackals completely wiped out? Or are there still some out there?
Do Hain & Steel Song have any past connection or at least know of each other?
Will the Dusk Guard join forces with Blade's team in Part 2?

Urk. Missed the memo for this one. Ok... Reading through the stories again to see if anything pops out for me possibly for the art contest, who was the fifth character that Steel Song selected that eventually got replaced by Nova?
What would be some of Blades hobbies, if she wasn't working on a contract?
IF the Dusk Guard had a counterpart, what would it be called? I doubt Bethesda would appreciate you using Dawn Guard. XD
