Super Important Update, and Massive Shoutout/Thanks · 11:14pm Jun 22nd, 2015
I just want to start by expressing my continued amazement with not just this site, but the fandom in general; at this rate the amazement might as well be permanently etched on my face like some permanent monument statue to amazement-ness. The sheer amount of creativity, camaraderie, productivity, openness, enthusiasm, and passion of this fandom far overshadows its flaws and its faults a thousand times over, and I'm glad to have been a part of it, and a continuing part of it for its remaining existence.
That said, times always come when we have to take a break from these great things in life, whether by choice or by circumstance, and in this case I'm sipping a nice tall glass of circumstance. It goes down like juice squeezed straight from a lemon, but it has an oddly pleasing and refreshing aftertaste.
Now for any who are not yet aware, I am to serve in the US Air Force from this year up until 2023 in a variety of capacities both big and small, four years active and four years reserve, and that service begins the very early morning of Monday, June 29th when I arrive in Texas to begin basic training. Saturday the 27th is likely to be my last time on here and indeed the entire internet regularly until around early October by my reckoning, pending any unforeseen circumstances in or against my favour.
With that announcement made, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the following folks, whether it be for their support, friendship and companionship, feedback, putting up with my procrastination, opinions, and often unpredictable/random nature, or even simply doing something to make my day. You all know who you are!

And it would be really interesting for Microsoft to create a next generation Halo RTS. I would like to see the return of Captin Cutter, Anders, Sparaten Red team, and the Spirt of Fire and her crew and their struggles against the flood, Covent Slinter groups, and Forerunners/Promethans. And a PC port could really help with certain aspects of it as well. Along with a Covenant campaign maybe. And I hope you find this all interesting or helpful.
