Well, that happened. 
When I sat down to write Love Twiangles, did I have any idea that it would remain in the featurebox for a solid five days?
Actually yeah, I kind of did. 
From the genesis of the idea as a vague "Twilight, Twilight and Sunset in a threes company sort of deal", to the conception of the brilliant title pun, (Which I don't think I can take credit for, but I don't remember who gave me the idea for it either) to the mental picture that would eventually become the coverart, I knew I had struck feature box gold.
That's not to say I wrote this story to troll or to exploit the system or just to get featured. I wrote it because I found it funny, and hoped you guys would too. Once I started, it pretty much wrote itself.
Of course, I couldn't have done it without the fabulous cover art by Theigi. They were awesome enough to help turn my mental picture into reality. They've got a story of their own about the Dazzlings, which what I've read of it seems pretty interesting so far. You should check it out.
While I doubt I'll be writing any direct sequels to Love Twiangles, for the past 6 months or so I've been working on a romance story involving Twilight, Sunset, maybe another Sunset and another Twilight at least hanging around in the background somewhere, as well as a lot of drama. It's about 90k words in and nearing completion, although it will require extensive editing once done.
Other than that I've still been participating in the monthly writeoffs, and will continue to do so in the future, so expect more occasional short stories like How Sunset Rose. One of these days I might drop a minific compilation too, though I'm not as good as those.
