Oh no! · 4:08pm Jul 21st, 2012
Regarding my last blog post, I realized I have made a TERRIBLE mistake.
I did not use this sentence: "I have altered Celestia's dialogue in Correspondence in order to make it perfectly plain that the pony princess is not presented as a pedophile."
I am very sorry.
In other news, thanks to everypony for the words of encouragement, I probably will not be making any additional changes to any of my fics aside from correcting the occasional typo or formatting glitch. I am now going to write some Twilestia. Otakon will be cutting into my ficcing time, but after that hopefully it won't be too long before I have something legible enough to submit. One can only hope.
I look forward to more from you uncle.
Some Twilestia you say?
...Well, I guess I'm gonna die from the cuteness, and revive from the hilarity, judging by your works...I hope.
241778 I'm so, so very sorry... but said twilestia is going to be a very "brutal, realistic twilestia", that will hopefully induce d'awws to make up for bonecrushing sadness it will apparently also cause.
See Uncle's last blog for more details.
can't wait for the twilestia. with you writing its gonna be funny and sweet.

Oh.
Well.
...Curiosity killed the bird. I'm no bird, I should be safe.
Plus, that would definitely be something new.

The definition of "realistic" for Twilestia differs depending on whom you talk to. People say "Oh the age difference/position of power" and whatnot against the lovely ship, but forget that this sort of thing has been the backbone of human history since humans HAD backbones straight enough to walk upright. The driving force, be it lust or emotion, or both - has always seen it through, even if to furtive meetings in secretive locales. Such is the way of civilized sentients.

Bring on the twilestia, Unc. Bring it on.

Thank you. In terms of storytelling, it's not an barrier to the pairing, it's a tool to be used by the narrative.
