Working 12 straight days can seriously wear ya out, man! 
I mean, everything, from my room, to the front lawn, to the garage, is a total wreck from lack of upkeep.
Oh yeah, and the writing as well. We can't forget that
So, where to begin, hm?
Where have I been? Working my butt off!
Where have I been working? Not at the new job I was hoping, due to their total lack of healthcare coverage, and me being 26 and no longer under my folks' umbrella, that's pretty big. So I took a minor step back, but a step or two forward, if that makes any sense, as the higher ups heard that I stayed loyal rather than jump ship like half the staff, and I got a nice little promotion.
Unfortunately, that's coincided with the spring season ramping up, and with a new staff due to the subterfuge of the previous manager (seriously, he hacked out system and cleared out our inventories to f
k with us 
), things have been pretty crazy to say the least.
And that's before my GF and here family headed to Europe yesterday for 10 days, with me helping with the packing, planning, and pet-sitting.
I'm pooped!
No, not like that! 
And on TOP of that, we're about to have a massive spring cleaning in both houses' garages (at least I'm getting help on this-hell, we're calling in relatives from halfway across the state for this epic undertaking!)
I'm also heading to Fiesta Equestria in Houston next month, so yay for that too!
Gonna be traveling with PinelopeCushion and Quillin Words among others (though the others don't have accounts here, I don't think...)

...I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed here folks 
BUT, there is hope on the horizon!
I only work 32 hours next week and I have the whole weekend off (albeit I'll be out of town the entire weekend, but it's going to be a welcome break from the daily grind, so my batteries should be recharged after this).
The good other good news is that these extra hours have really helped me pay off some bills and save up the money for a down payment on a house. So more

Also, S5 has been a blast so far! (Tanks For the Memories has officially unseated Rainbow Falls and Testing, Testing 123 as my fave RD episode, and Make New Friends But Keep Discord is probably the funniest episode I've EVER seen!)
Anyways, back to what you all REALLY wanna hear about-the writing!
Well...I've been puttering along on the next chapter for quite some time and to be totally honest, I'm being too much of a perfectionist on this thing. There are events that take place in the next chapter that set the tone for the rest of the story (events I've known have needed to happen since late 2012 for crying out loud)...and I've been kinda afraid of buggering them up.
But I think I've got it figured out now. I'm going to charge forward through this thing, stop being distracted by all the other crap in my life (I'm looking at you, personal car and Youtube!), and get this done!
Thanks for the continuing support of my broken-recordness. I promise it'll be worth the wait!
This is worth waiting for. Which reminds me to go through it all again just to stay abreast of it, or I can wait for the next chapter and read everything to see how it flows.....what do you think?
