The newest and sadly the final chapter of To Find a Rainbow has passed the draft stage and just needs to be edited before it can be posted. Expect it either tonight or tomorrow night at latest.

To Find a Rainbow still has one epilogue coming sometime next week!
Side stories are coming up! The first will be a nice novella (around 20k words or so?) starring Rarity and Applejack! Expect heartwarming family shenanigans. I also have plans for one or two others, though they're still in the early stages. More information as I get closer to them.
After those, To Find a Rainbow is getting a sequel! Most of you already know this, but I thought I'd say it again. Good news is I'll be starting on it right after I'm done with the side stories, so it hopefully won't be too long before the misadventures of Rainbow, Scoots and Will continue! What could lie in wait for our intrepid heroes?
Regardless, thank you all so much for sticking with me through To Find a Rainbow. It's been a crazy ride the whole time and I'm almost sad to see it coming to a close, even if I'm excited to be finishing my first novel-length story. Here's to many more in the future, pony or no! But I appreciate you all so much. I never could have stuck it out to finish TFaR without all your support and lovely comments. I'm sorry I haven't been the most consistent with replying to them all, but I do want you to know I read every single one of them. And I appreciate them all, even the criticisms.

I am only up to chapter 6 but I am loving this story. It really is different from a lot of stuff I have read on fimfiction. *Following*
Like every good ride, everything Just come to an end. But boy, what a ride it was. Yours was actually the first story I read for the clop, yet stayed for the story. And I don't regret a single second of reading it. Laughs were had, we all got pissed at Will at some point, and tears were shed. A fuckload of tears, mind you.
I just hope that the side stories are just as entertaining! And hopefully the sequel will be more lighthearted and fin. Seriously, I can't handle another one that makes me cry again. Is just too much
And like I told you at some point, you're the reason I made an account here, so I could tell you how much I loved TFAR. I expect nothing but great stuff from you from now on!!

I plan to do everything possible to make the side stories as entertaining as possible! The Rarity/Applejack one should be mostly lovey-doveyness with a dash of heartwarming thrown in on the side. I've been looking forward to working on it for a while, so I hope everyone likes it as much as I'm sure I'll like writing it!

Well, think of it this way: it's just the first half of the story that's ending! There's plenty more to come in the sequel!
I'll be honest, I'm not too sure about how this story's coming to a conclusion. You've got Scootaloo and Will, and that's fine, but I'm still wondering about Rainbow Dash? It seems like her budding romance with Will was utterly discarded in favour of Scootaloo, and that was a pretty jarring transition, and one I didn't like too much. The story kind of reads along the lines of "Rainbow clearly wants something with Will, despite her tomcolt exterior and Will clearly wants something with Rainbow as evidenced by his actions toward her, so basically Will and Scootaloo get together."
It's like... I dunno. After Scootaloo's intro, you completely switched the shape of the story. There's a big hole in a major character arc which was resolved with the whole "let's just be friends" thing which, I'm gonna be honest, didn't really work for me. I mean, the summary of the story is " [HiE] A human becomes friends with benefits with Rainbow Dash, only to discover he wants more. " Hell, the story's title is "To Find a Rainbow". The way it turned out, it should've been called "To Find a Scootaloo" or "Not a Filly Anymore". It just seems like Will gave up on what was the main focus of the story.
I suppose I'm just disappointed because I found this fic and fell in love with it while I was looking for a solid Human X Rainbow Dash story to read, and it turned into something completely different.
Well, that's it for me. Sorry if I sound of a little bit of assness here. I don't mean to be, but... It's a good story. It just wasn't what I wanted it to be.

It was a good ride, and definitely a better ride than I was expecting when I read the first chapter. It was a good story that took a direction that I didn't expect it too. Can't wait to read what else you write.
