2873690 Nope, an ethereal mane is generally only present when the princess is at 'full power', which Celine is very much not. Luna and Celestia have shown they can lose the mane without their full alicorn awesome in effect.

You know, it occurs to me that there's a fun little argument to be made that Luna did not create Celine, but rather that Celine created herself.
The reason for that is that Celine has all of Luna's memories. As such, she remembers everything that Luna did prior to the moment of her creation, which includes not only coming up with the idea of casting the simulacrum spell, but also the memories of the actual casting itself - the casting which gave Celine her own body. As such, she remembers performing the very act that conjured her into existence. Per se, then, she created herself, splitting herself off from Luna by her own will.
A polemical to be sure, but a fun one.
2874398 That would be very confusing! They are not perfect copies though, or so I tried to imply. Celine can sift through her given memories with an active effort, retrieving Luna memories, but they are Luna memories, not Celine memories. She is more akin to a pony with an extremely vivid past life.
2874472 Hm, that came across with her accessing Silver's memories, but I didn't think it was that way with Luna's. The casual way she was talking about knowing someone from ancient minotaur history made it sound like she had total, casual access to them without any effort.
