I can't even believe that I forgot to mention the most important part.
When I wrote this story... well, no one really read it. I didn't care; it was fun enough to write. However, because of this I sorta assumed that other people weren't as into the idea as I was. So I left the fic alone and moved on.
It wasn't until an awesome group known as Seattle's Angels did me the honour of reviewing my fic that I began to realize other folks might actually get a kick out of it.
To be fully honest, that review meant more to me than the actual EQD feature did. To see someone not only read my work, but actually analyze and examine it so carefully, to create their own separate work merely out of observation of my own... that was a really great feeling. It have me the motivation I needed to pop off an email to EQD mere hours before kitting up and hopping in the back of a truck to spend the rest of my week freezing my balls off.
So yeah, check them out. They're a cool gang of cool people doing cool stuff. Cool?

Sorry if I'm a bit late on this. I was in the field all week for a training exercise and I didn't exactly have my phone on me. Hell, I got 1 and a half hours of sleep over the last 5 days...
Anyway, it seems that another of my stories has been featured on Equestria Daily!
So that's pretty neat. 
It was a hell of a lot of fun to write, so I'm glad some people found it fun to read as well.
I guess that about sums up the obligatory blog post on the matter. 
But seriously, I've had the roughest week, and seeing this notification on my phone when I got back managed to crack through all the weariness and make me smile like a ninny.
This community is awesome. You're awesome. Yes, you in particular.
