I know I made a blog in like the last hour, but I have NEWS FOR EVERYONE. If you weren't aware already, I recently took down my Lovestruck story to make revisions. But, now that I've been working on it, now I have the prologue out for all to see!

Prologue eh? Hope you did well with it. In my experience, most of the prologue on this site tend to be more exposition rather than setting up the story.
Just going to take this opportunity to pointedly object to the 'take it all down and put it back up in parts' approach to revision. I'd much rather people left their stories up and replaced it all in one go later. It's not as much of an issue here, since the story was relatively short, but it's really frustrating at times to have the version that you remember gone and also inaccessible for later comparison.
Also, it's the internet, so anyone taking anything down is generally annoying. :P

OK, first of all, I made it clear in the earlier blog that the reason I took it down was so that way people wouldn't read a new chapter and be like, "Wait, when did this happen?" after I made the revisions I wanted to. Another reason I took it down is because I was not about to make another Lovestruck series because it is against site rules to have two different versions of the story existing alongside each other, meaning that I couldn't make another copy of the story for people to look at and say, "Oh, that's what changed!"
Another thing is, what I do with my stories is my business. Just because it upsets you or others that I am taking the time to bring this story to my liking and make it better for myself which is, hello, one of the reasons I write to begin with, it doesn't mean I have to adhere to your wishes. Also, if I remember correctly, I saw that you yourself complained about some of the issues in the fic, things I myself have taken note of and am trying to rectify. But, friendly reminded that I am making revisions for myself, though the feedback itself holds a factor in it.
So yeah, I'm sorry if making my story better bothers you or the way I'm going about it bothers you, but I wanted to do it for myself. Please respect that and try not to be disrespectful about it.
Yeah, I know. As I said, I'd rather people just changed the whole story at once when they finished revising it entirely.
I'm sorry that's how you feel, but as far as I'm concerned, what someone does on here goes a little outside of being their own business. The point of posting stories is for others to read them.
I don't mind you taking time, I mind the approach. I never said you had to adhere to my wishes. I'm simply indicating my opinion on the matter. Whether I am disrespectful or not is really more of an objective matter and less about how you take it.
