Jay works in mysterious ways. Often, he doesn't work at all; but that's beside the point.
Looking back through my stories, there are very few ideas that I actually came up with on my own. Most are written for a competition, inspired by a random comment, or came from other prompts. My most up-voted story was a prompt from Rated Ponystar, and my highest rated one was written for an AppleDash contest.
Clearly, it is only in stealing others' ideas that I succeed.
And that's why I'm posting this now. It seems that EQD is having a little contest that ends on Valentine's Day, and I need a shipping pair.
It can't be OctaScratch (have two of those I'm working on), can't be AppleDash (unless it's a really good prompt because I have at the time of writing five unfinished AppleDash stories, not counting sequels), and it can't be LunaJack (because I'm almost done with one of those, too). Other than that, which pairing should I try?
While my inclination is to say TwiJack, I'm already writing that and I'm not sure it would be playing to your strengths. So, what about RariDash? I think you could write a great RariDash story.
