Oh, did I mention I was made an admin?
Now I have to be responsible. Great.
Still, I don't like doing things by halves, so I've done my best to get the small author support group 'Harmonists' running smoothly. And I have! We've got a help thread, a practice game thread, an ask for ideas thread (that's not mine, though), a spotlight thread that I'll update weekly, and even a contest!
It's a really cool group too. I was a little dubious about the other admins at first, but they're all very outgoing, and very keen to help other authors. I'm quite glad to have been made one of them.
So, if you're not familiar with them already, check them out! I've worked hard to get them an author support system that works well, and I'll be damned if I don't encourage other people to make good use of it.
Unfortunately, my own stories have been going rather slowly. I've had exams recently, and plenty of work besides, so sorry if I keep you guys waiting. I'm working hard on a story, but it's a rather long one (at least for me) and I want to get it right. It's currently at around 12K words, and around halfway there.
I hope I don't keep you waiting too long!

It's a murder mystery (one of the rarest genres here, I've found), and it features a killer who leaves no evidence other than a message written in the victim's blood, leaves no bodies behind, but is seen with multiple victims leaving no doubt in anybody's mind that he's the culprit. However, he's managed to come up with alibis, making him impossible to convict.
So, how does he do it? The good news is that I've figured out how (assuming you're comforted by knowing someone can achieve this). The bad news is that I'm not going to tell you.
And then on a more character related note, I'll have Shining Armour figure out whether he's a better guard (since we know he was one before marrying Cadence) or a prince. It's fun to write, at least.

2764859 By 'dubious' I mean that I didn't know what to think. Let's face it, most of you were pretty quiet. Not a lot of information to analyze, given the circumstances.
I still don't encounter that many of you, even know. I've just acquired a bit more of an understanding.
