Status Update, and What MLP:FiM Has Done For Me · 9:28pm Dec 16th, 2014
Hello! Just wanted to put up a blog letting everyone know that I'm still alive and kicking, and update you all on how things are going for/with me.
First things first, I'm still dormant in the writing scene; I'm eager to get back into it, but I'm not going to rush myself. I'm still stuck on how to "unravel" the next chapter of Wilted Flower and get it published: the general idea of what I want to do with it isn't the issue, it's more so how I'm going to make it work so that it's not a giant mess. Anyone who's interested in helping out can send me a PM for the details. My other projects are dormant as well, but I've found some renewed vigor in wanting to get them completed and published, since I feel bad for not finishing what I've started.
As for what MLP:FiM has done for me, aside from opening my eyes to creative writing and my inherent talent/skill with it, it has also awakened in me a love for horses that I've had ever since I was a kid. I'd enjoy watching old Western movies, admiring the freedom and open expanse of the West, and wish that I could ride atop a horse and just explore. It wasn't until I met my first horse up-close and in person that I knew that horses were an essential part of me and my life. The curious and gentle nature of the horses that I've met have increasingly made me a more happy and relaxed person, and if it weren't for MLP, I'm fairly certain that I would never have thought about pursuing my passion for horseback riding and natural horsemanship.
In short, I'm trying to get back to writing, and appreciate your patience in the matter. As I stated above, anyone who would be interested in helping me out, feel free to shoot me a PM.
You should cuddle a horse.
They like cuddling, right?

I've experienced mutual scratches from a horse a few times, which tickled.
I hate horses
one of them stood on my foot once for like 10 seconds
I was beating the shit out of it's shoulder but it wasn't moving

You have to "push" them out of the way when you want them to move in most cases. My ex's stallion loved to push me bodily against the stall wall almost all the time. I think he found it hilarious, but my upper body most certainly didn't; putting firm pressure on his shoulder and neck, though, got him to move.
That horse was a pain in the ass.
Zomg.
Did you just compliment yourself for a change?

I most certainly did! I think I might be losing my mind...
(not always the best with words, so I'm using ponicons instead ^^ )
