I don't understand tumblr. Somebody writes a tumblr, and there's no way for me to comment on it. I'm supposed to rebroadcast it on my tumblr, which no one reads. What's the point? If you want to talk with people, write a blog. If you want to talk to people and make sure they can't talk back, use tumblr.

First off, the notes of a Tumblr post include the reblogs of the post, along with a snippet of the text if additional text was added. Second, you can enable simple replies for your posts, available either to everyone or to people you are following; these replies are more akin to traditional comments. Tumblr is actuallt ideal for conversations, because it doesn't stay under the domain of one person. When I respond to a post, all my followers see it, and then they can chime in with their own thoughts, which in turn shows for all of their followers. Conversations can quickly grow to encompass a lot of people, some of whom you might not even know.

I've not had any real questions other than from tumblrbot (He's so rude! He yells at the top of his synthesized voice!), and I don't really draw much (yet, anyway, still learning, although now that I have a tablet things should be a little easier).
