My highly colourful 100-word flash fic, Haven, picked up second place in the Weekly Contests, er, contest. (Because of its brevity, I've made it a chapter in my Little Bits anthology, hence the tag on this post.) There were ten entries, of which only one or two were less than serious attempts, so I'm quite pleased with that result. Still, the runner-up spot does mean that I maintain my record of never having actually won a ponyfic contest!

Second place! I think that would even get a 160 decibel yay from Fluttershy. Definitely something to be proud of, and hopefully there will be other chances.
