Everypony that follows Baen and the future two sequel's, I want you all to vote.
I want to make a romance based AU fic for Baen, just a fun little fic for our favorite barbarian to fall in love and fight evil. Now here are your options, and I want you all to REALLY think about this and not just choose the obvious one. This is an AU story, so it won't be canon, keep that in mind.

Magic & Steel: An Odd School Love Story
I would rate them as the following. The first would be Sunset Shimmer. Baen and Sunset have had to adapt to a new world. Also with the new personality she has in Rainbow Rocks, I can see her trying to get to know Baen. It would also be nice to see Baen and Sunset try to master their new powers.
The second would be CoCo. They have history. Also I loved the awkwardness between the two in earlier chapters. They have a good friend Base to grow on. There are a lot of reasons why it should be them.
Also for Celestia, I don't think that would work at all. Baen and Celestia have little to bond over. She is seen as a mother figure to all of Equestria, and I don't think that fits well with Baen's personality.
I do know I have a bit of my personal opinions in here, but this is my vote and why. Good luck with deciding which story to write.

Either Sunset or Tia, as CocoBaen is already canon, and you said this was AU.
Ray of Sunshine. I simply want to see more of Celestia's flirty attitude towards Baen...as well as seeing Twilight's reaction to Baen fooling around with Celestia. I actually think that Baen wouldn't be above describing what he and Celstia would do to each other just to tease Twilight,
