Here's How Things Will Go Down (Raising Rainbow News) · 9:08pm Sep 16th, 2014
Alrighty, guys. Listen; I know lately I've been making a lot of sub-plots within Raising Rainbow at this point. From Blueshift (which by the way, I didn't know that was a User on this site until a while after I made the chapter) to Blue Moon being introduced. Here's a few things I think you guys should know about how I'll be sorting these things around.
1.) Blueshift And The Kids
After the Once in a Blue Moon Three-Parter, I'll be doing a regular chapter of Raising Rainbow. That's right; no drugged kids, no random foals popping into existence, no new introductions of characters. That chapter will focus on Rainbow Dash being left home alone for the first time (Yay! A Dashie Chapter!). After that chapter, I'll be doing one focusing on Blueshift's family with Rainbolt/Rainbow. I should be featuring them in chapters, maybe every 3-5 chapters (not including multi-part chapters). Their plotline will go little by little, but won't last the entire story. I know what I'll be doing them, and I think you all will enjoy it, too. If you can put the clues together, it isn't something hard to decipher.
2.) Moonstruck, Blue Moon, and Mrs. Skies
Although I will have rare chapters where I showcase the family off and on, I'll probably do this; 500-2,000 words at the end of regular chapters peeking in on the new parents. A new foal isn't something I can simply ignore, so I'll be adding skits with them just to see how they're developing and morphing. When something significant happens with them, however, there will be a separate chapter to tell of the events.
3.) The Regular Stuff
After the excitement of this dramatic chapters die down, I'll be focusing more on the stuff we're used to seeing. Rainbolt, Rainbow's silly mischief, and the occasional Surprise. Like I said, I'll still be adding in little bleeps of Bluehsift, Blue Moon, and any other subplot, but I will be trying to sink into the regular stuff once more. I won't however, ignore all I've done.
So, yeah, that's it. I kind of scared myself with how much I was trying to cram into one story, so I've just kind of figured something out I'm comfortable with. Hope you all enjoy the chapters I have to come.

Is Firefly going to come back any time? The last we saw of her, she was pregnant again, and that's not something you can just forget about.
I sure think so. I mean, you can fit a lot in with the allowed space, but it's good for you to want to stay on task and make on outline.
But enough of that, how's life been in general, friend?
Yes, you have several subplots crammed in, that's okay. You know what your doing with them.
I'm really interested in what you do with Blueshift. Please don't cart him off to jail.
2460113 I did that simply to ensure the audience she ended up well in life. Actually, I do plan on bringing her back, but not for an entire chapter. She'll get a scene, though.
