Does anypony want to continue Changeling Places? · 7:27pm Aug 17th, 2014
I hate stories that are forever unfinished. I realize that sometimes writers just can't continue a story for personal reasons, jobs, complications, or...well, death. But nothing irritates me quite like getting into a story and finding out that it will never finish. So I always try to finish what I start.
Unfortunately, that also means that the chapters I put up are often token or rushed, and any other projects I want to do get put on the back burner. I like writing as a hobby, but when it feels like a chore, I put out bad work and don't feel any better. Basically, I write when I feel like it. When inspiration strikes me, when I feel like I want to write, when I have a great idea I wanna put down.
And if you haven't noticed, I haven't felt like writing Changeling Places for a while.
I'm sorry, I really am, but the motivation just isn't there. I have other stories I want to work on, not to mention a life outside of fan fictions. I have a plan for the story, but I can't seem to get myself to sit down and write it. Especially when new ideas for different stories outside this fandom come to me instead of this particular story. And if I force myself to write this, what I come up with probably won't be that good.
So I might as well ask...does anyone want to pick the story up? I can send you the plot summary I had in mind, and you can make whatever additions you want. PM me if you're interested.
It’s always rough when you put a story on hiatus (I did with a couple of mine, for largely the same reasons). I already have too many ideas of my own, and while I enjoyed reading Changeling Places, I don’t think I have it in me to write it; I just can’t seem to really produce dark stuff anymore.
I just wanted to let you know that you aren’t along in having stories you aren’t sure you can finish.

No offense, but that's a terrible way to write.
I'm not a writer (yet), but if you are unable to find someone to take up the cause, please at least publish your unused ideas and how you think you might have ended the story in summary.
