Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. This account will never be active other than today for this post only. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and ponyfic just isn’t a part of it anymore. That being said, I love these stories of mine very much. There’s a lot of myself that I put into them, and at least a couple people have told me that these stories meant a lot to them as well. So, for those people, and for anyone else who might come to enjoy my work in the future, I’m charging my friend Spabble with curating my completed stories. The incomplete ones will stay with me. Thank you all for the love, the faves, and the support as I grew and learned. Keep doing what you love, and the best of luck to you all.

A number of people have been saying this sort of thing lately and I frankly have a hard time buying it from any of them. It may sound harsh, but I have to question if it was ever really part of the life of a person who says something like that. You can quit writing stories or participating actively without needing to declare some state of permanent separation, and why anyone would quit reading ponyfic anymore than they'd quit reading science fiction or fantasy beats me. It sounds silly. Not to mention the notion of "moving on" which usually implies some level of total separation? Identity crisis anyone?

Oh, that too. It's a little odd to make the statements you do and then proceed to leave precisely zero stories on your account. If you remove them from your account (i.e. delete them), I'm pretty sure that virtually annihilates favorites, likes, comments, etc.

You can't curate non-existent stories. I read that line, I was not unaware of what it said. You clearly don't get it. His statement and his actions seem inconsistent. In any case, you can forego replying to this because this is not a conversation anymore and hasn't been for several replies.
