Research Is Magic · 9:41am Jul 11th, 2014
So a few days ago, I told a friend about my passion for writing. He recommended me this online site called "Grammarly" a online proofreader that points out grammar mistakes, make suggestions, sound legit. But me being paranoid prick I am, began to do some research on this so called legit site.
Thank god I did some research.
Tons and tons of the people who were tricked by Grammar reviewed the same exact problem:
This site engages in theft. I used the site two years ago and cancelled when my class ended. Many months later they billed me again. I was able to get te charge reversed. (back when they had a working phone number) When reviewing my bank account I noticed they have been charging me $19.99 for the past three months. They bill around the middle of the month. I contacted them by e-mail and they informed me that they could not refund more than two months. I do t know why they have not been shut down or a class action suit has not be filled against them. It is nothing more than simple theft.
From another user:
Grammarly.com is an utter scam....pure and simple. And, if you make the fatal mistake of giving out CC info, then they will bill you every month until the cows come home....canceling is next to impossible. There is Zero customer support. Their toll-free number doesn't work. BEWARE, BEWAR, BEWARE!!!! Do not use or fool with Grammarly.com!!!!!!!!!
The list goes on and on.
This is why you always should do a back round check before going through with a false promising site. Never trust a site. Having editors, real people, is the best thing a writer could ever have.
Now that's just horrible. Do you mind if I do a blog linking to this?

Yup, always do research about anything you need, that's why we have the internet! To learn things about whatever.
Still, that's pretty unfortunate to those other folks.
Good thing you did some background checks, eh?
I used it once it never billed me just the 7 day trial came up after that I exit the tab I don't like 7 day trials

There is this children's app people say is ran by a pedofiles ring. It is called Talking Angela.
i know that site. i almost went and asked them to proofread some stories i was writing that aren't anything to do with mlp, but are original works by me that i have been trying to get published into hardback novels.
luckily, when i noticed they were going to charge me, i hesitated and decided to proofread the stuff myself.
now i'm really glad i hesitated
Well... it's a good thing i avoided this site in the past.
2274104 That's just...
