100 Followers, Mega Mare, And Other Thoughts · 1:03am Jun 6th, 2014
I'd like to begin this post by denoting my bemusement, seemingly someone ran through my stories and downvoted all of them. I'm not offended or upset, I'm just wondering if it was a troll or if someone actually dislikes all my stories. Though I wish downvoters would leave comments explaining what they disliked, I'm a big boy, as long as the comment is mature I'll be the same in kind.
Well, that aside, nice things to say now! I've hit 100 Followers, which is awesome. I started off here at the tail end of 2013 and have seen a level of feedback I didn't think was possible. I've been writing fanfiction for ten years this October, and to see dozens of comments and hundreds of views within the first couple of days is something I've never experienced before. I'd like to thank everyone who has read my work, commented, thumbs up, adding to group, faving. It means a lot to me.
By the end of the month, Mega Mare, my very first fic, will be wrapping up. I find it odd that after nearly six months in the writing, it still has so little exposure compared to my one-shots which have near universally gotten more views, ratings, and comments, but given the subject matter maybe it's to be expected. Another fic of mine has been put out there, Twilight Falls, Sunset Dawns, which will be a multi-part fic focusing on Sunset Shimmer and exploring her character, so head on over to check it out if you haven't already.
Once again, thank you to everyone who has supported me and read my work and helped me review, I love you all.
Woo, seems a few of the guys I follow have been hitting some impressive milestones.
Don't stop now! Keep striving to improve and reach the next big hurdle!
Downvoter trolls are sadly nothing one can do much about. Just focus on the upvotes.
2179975 Aye, my thoughts exactly. A downvote itself means nothing to me. Okay, so someone didn't like my story, oh well. Now, a comment giving actual criticism of the story, that would hold value, but of a positive sort.
