    Do not adjust your sets

Hey all, sorry but this isn't Rust.

This is Handyman speaking, for those of you who don't know, I'm that guy who writes that fic with that other guy who does the things. Those of you who aren't laughing at the fact I now have an account with a batpony avatar, you have no soul and your first born child will be ginger.

"Rocketmare" Featured in Seattle's Angels Latest Review (And Some Thoughts On Expanding It) · 4:27am Apr 27th, 2014

I actually might have missed this were it not for the fact that I was absently browsing the feed around midnight.

Seattle's Angels is a group who dedicate themselves to combing through the muck and smell of the mountains of fanfiction we as a fandom put out. If they find something good, or something that sticks with them in a way they like, they'll give it an insightful review, which are then posted to the site's official news feed. I have the utmost respect for these brave men and women, who are probably hella smarter at literary shit than I and probably better looking, too.

Tonight, it just so happened they featured my latest work, Rocketmare, which is a short, experimental piece I wrote to ease into the sci-fi genre, practice driving scenes through character action and sensory input, further delve into manipulating your emotions (your tears only make me stronger), and simply because space is the fucking tits. I'm actually quite proud of this one, and am happy to see it climbing up the charts to one of my bestever (according to the like/dislike/view ratio).

You can find their orgasmic insightful review HERE! I'm the third story featured.

Now then.

Many people have asked me to expand on this work, which, only shows Stella, the main character, for a brief snapshot in the middle of an already-ongoing story. Events before the story are purposefully left vague, as well as physical descriptions to allow the reader to fill the blanks in themselves.

However... the potential for something good is there. Like, really good. I didn't even see it until I actually published the thing, but the possibilities are staggering. Space exploration? Future Equestria? Ponies and rockets? Magic/science hybridization? The fact that she's terminally ill and she just keeps going because if she lets herself slow down, the ghost of the life she left behind will crush what's left of her completely?

Expanding on the original sliver, actually fleshing out a full-length epic from this is so goddamn tempting that I can only compare the feeling to getting dry-humped by that hot chick in the front row who's been throwing you looks all night at a dubstep concert. Shit's real good, but it could get even better... if you want it to.

So, I guess it would be pretty likely. Maybe not immediately... but... yeah.

Fun fact: Stella is a batpony.

And a batpony?! Oh, I am literally salivating at the thought if an expansion now!:pinkiehappy:

Congrats on making the SA review! Very well deserved! :moustache:

Bat ponies are best ponies, so I may just have to read this.

Did you hear that they found it? Gaming legend had it that the E.T. game for the Atari was so bad and so overproduced that a ton of unsold cartridges were buried in a landfill in Mexico. Recently, a group making a documentary found it.....am I the only one hyped about this?

Gratz on the feature dude ;) Didn't she was a batpony :D

Tasty, delicious batponi.

Nice... Would love to read it when it comes out, friend.

congrats.

*It misses

Yay! I loved this story and it took me for a loop. I wouldn't mind seeing more, though this is the rare story where I feel that it stands on its own and implies to greater events without making me feel it needed to be longer, and I would be satisfied with it as it is.
