Dear fans of All That Glitters,
I am so sorry I let it go for so long. The silly shipping of Spike and Diamond Tiara deserves more respect than I've treated it with and I aim to rectify that. What caused the delay is, admittedly, my own inability to focus on it. I had so many new ideas and story concepts, things kinda were left in the dust, including gems like this one. Upon rereading it, I was stunned by what I did with the two of them. I took perhaps the hardest character to write for (Spike) and the character everybody loathes (Diamond Tiara) and made something special out of the two of them.
I will admit, I was planning a purge of some stories that I had lost sight of and was probably not going to finish and this one was in that group. However, thanks to a good kick in the flank by Skeeter The Lurker and my friend vren55, I have decided to not remove any of them and I will complete them, every one from All That Glitters (80% done) to My Little Pony: The Zecora Tales (10% done). While they will not be finished overnight, I will be actively revisiting them and completing their arcs one at a time.
And it starts with Spike and Diamond Tiara.
What this means is that it may take a little longer for some updates, but all of my stories will be updated and hopefully completed in a timely manner. For now, all of my new ideas are put on hold and will not be published, save for the collab between me and vren55. I hope you all will find the spark that got you to like my stories in the first place again, because while I may never be Pen Stroke, RainbowBob or anyone famous, I want to find that spark again in my own stories.

Aw, don't worry. This happens to everyone. It's one of the beautiful things about fanfiction: if you abandon a story as an actual author to work on other projects, or just wait too long to release for a certain series, you get bad reviews, fans get angry, and you don't make as much money. In fanfiction, most fans will still be there, you don't have to worry about bad reviews due to delays since it's basically expected, and some people will even praise you for "reviving" a story they liked.
Anyways, now I have to check out the story. Best of luck with the new chapter!
Oh yeah, been there in that side of deleting stories because I lost the passion for them. Glad to see you conquered that urge and fought back. Good luck with the story!

You just need to focus on being YOU. I'm disappointed you would even consider purging All that Glitters. It was bad enough you refused to showcase it among your Good Stories section.
Now, I believe you were about to cause the glass house to come crashing down on someponies and a dragon? Glad to hear you got a couple awesome peeps keeping you from doing silly things like removing such a gem.
Now, write you crazy pony you! Just focus on being your own person and don't sweat the fame thing. You got like 1400+ followers, ignoring that and saying you ain't 'fic famous' is absurd. It took Pen like 4 pony seasons to get the followers he has now. You're still relatively new compared to him. Seriously, that's like 2 years headstart before your Golden Armor fics. He has Nyx, you have Angel.
