Yes, it's reached that time. Know Your Mare has to end... Really this time. Ten chapters left, three of which are already planned (which is really special since I've NEVER planned a KYM episode). It's time we cross that road and start my newer projects. Nothing will be as bombastic as Know Your Mare; partly because with today's rules in the site, Know Your Mare-esque stories would be shot down before they could even take five steps. Which, to me, makes Know Your Mare a rare breed of stupidity.
You may know that I don't like Know Your Mare... At all. But, you know what? If it wasn't for Know Your Mare, none of you would be following me one way or another. It inspired ideas from me, he let me be goofy and crazy whenever I wanted, and it even got me an animated series. Not many stories can say that. Honestly? I'm proud of Know Your Mare. It's in its own right something original; even if it was based of a 90's comedy sketch. We've had some good laughs and some good hating, haven't we?
But, the torch must be passed on. This story needs to rest... Go away for a long time...
But... Why not make these last few chapters good? Why not give Know Your Mare a fine send off? I'll pour my heart and soul into these last chapters, each one emotional (funny or another emotion) to a high extreme. Real flare put into each chapter. But, don't let me work it alone. Submit art, stories, whatever you have. Send Know Your Mare off with me like the flagship of Overlord-Flinx it was.
I invite you all to be a part of Know Your Mare... For the last time ever.

I'm gonna be sad to see this go. Know Your Mare was the story that introduced me to the wonderfulness that is Overlord-Flinx... It deserves a good send-off

Well, they haven't seemed to have a problem with my anthology of Sixty Four Extremely Short, Incredibly Horrible, and Shamelessly Bizarre Slashfics, Plus One That's Just Plain Insane, Not to Mention a Character Uprising, Also a Bomb Threat, With a Few Optional Stable Time Loops Too, and Additionally a Foalnapping, to which you contributed a guest chapter. That story was directly inspired by Know Your Mare, and contains just as many stupid subplots, meta-ness, and general nonsense. I think it's safe to say the road to stupid stories is still open to public traffic.
Also, I guess you could say this is the end of a MARE-A!

2017858 It's a story loosely based on the comedy sketch from "All That" called "Know Your Star"; where an announcer would make up lies about a guest. This story has carried on for more than 200 chapters, and is not reaching its life-cycle. However, you already know this since it is on your favorites list and are just trying to be cute. Which is fine, but I am currently trying to be serious here about the end of one of my longest running stories.

Are you going to remove Know Your Mare from FIMfiction? As I am still catching up.
