I haven't updated here in months. No matter what, I just can't bring myself to come back to the stories I have. I would say it's just burnout but I think at this point I'm more like burnedout on pony fanfiction...and on being a writer.
To be honest, this would be kinda depressing for me if I hadn't realized last year how much I love art. I'm not satisfied anymore with painting a story in words. I want to paint the story in color, black and white, chiaroscuro, photography, photo manipulation, sketching, rendering... you get the point. I fell in love with art and trying to grow as an artist... and now I feel like I can't go back to writing.
I am sorry. Some of you really wanted to know the endings of many of my stories, especially Notes and The Alicorn Disability. I stayed and tried to come back for you all, but I know I just can't. I've also made so many friends through this site and have many good memories connected to here, but I have kinda moved on already as far as fanfiction goes :/
I feel like I'm just dropping all of you who were trusting me to finish my stories. I am truly sorry for that.
I will be attending Bronycon still, but unless something changes there or by that time, that's kinda going to be my goodbye to the fandom. I still love the show but I won't be as involved in the MLP community as before.

I was actually planning to read Notes when it was finished, so I could read through the whole thing in one sitting like I did Believing Stories. So much for that. Maybe you could give someone a plot outline and have them be your successor or something for Notes.
It's gonna happen to us all eventually. It's gonna wear off. It's gonna get old. Show's gonna end for good. Have fun with the art stuff, just don't forget you were, and still are, one of my favorite writers.
Considering you want to start drawing, maybe create a tumblr/deviantart/whatever for us to continue to follow you?

You have no reason to apologize. Yes we'll miss you on here but the fact is if you're not enjoying writing then you should stop. Folks want you to be happy. I'd ask that you keep the fics and the account up so we can enjoy them but I do accept it's your call. Just warn folks before you pull them?
