Sooo... question about my newest story... · 6:19pm Mar 24th, 2014
After four updates now, I think that we've got enough under our collective belt for me to posit this question about One of these Days. Do the pictures make up for the long time between updates for you? While I do enjoy making them for it, I don't like the long delay they put on the updates. Now personally, I could easily forgo the pictures, and just have the story, with the occasional picture (maybe one every other chapter or so), and be fine with it, but I want to hear from the rest of you about it before doing something that could affect your enjoyment of the story. Several have already commented on it, and those seem pretty evenly divided on the matter. But what about the rest of you? I'm gonna take a small break from the story to let this issue percolate a bit more, but if I don't hear from anyone else about it, I'll probably continue as I have for the next two chapters, then back down to making just the occasional picture as noted above.
In the meantime, I won't be idle while on this break. I'm actually going to be contributing a side-chapter to Fusion Fool the 3rd's story, Twilight's Misadventures and Apologies to the Readers. I was inspired to write this when I had suggested the idea of the Saddle Arabian chapter to him, and would like to see it put on paper (so to speak) to share with others just how I saw it happen in my head. So yeah, be on the look out for that in the next week or so. I will be returning to One of these Days, so all 20 or so of you who follow it, fear not.
For this blog posts's new thing I want to bring attention to, I present you with Bloodlines, a story set in the Pathfinder game mechanics. Be aware that it is a humanized ponies story, but don't hold that against it. It is a delicious bit of RPG geek heaven, and anyone who games would love it.
I knew I missed a few new stories during my long hiatus, seems this was one of them. I'll have to give it a gander in the next few days.
Hope life hass been treating ya well, Wrabbit. Glad to sssee you're still around and kicking.
As mentioned in the story thread, I like the pictures but I admit that I'm having a hard time keeping the story in my head between updates.
