...and naturally, just a day or so after ED decided to drop actually giving more feedback than a yay or nay on fics.
Wanna guess the primary reason I submitted it in the first place? 
I did get a copy of their editor omnibus attached, so I'm taking that as a hint (unless its the new standard) that with enough polish applied it just might have a shot, however. Considering it took so long I was beginning to think it had gotten auto-rejected that is sadly a step up. 
Oh well, two chances left. I've intended for a while now to find a couple of editors and clean up the story so far, just haven't had the time or energy do to other projects. Better luck next time and all that.
And a small update on chapter 3 while I'm writing anyway: Sadly stuck in writer's block limbo at the moment, but the fic isn't dead or anything. Just taking forever to write.
Question, If it gets rejected more than three times that author can never submit stories to EQD again? Or is that they can't submit that said story?

The other alternative would just be long term epic level shooting themselves in the foot.
