The Code Series - Emerald Flare, Code of Dissonance, and Unrealized Projects

Continuing with a longstanding desire to put old works to rest, this blogpost goes over the extremely scattered notes, ideas, basic plot threads and ideas that would have taken The Code's Apprentice stories to a 5 story... conclusion of sorts.

The Twilight Shadow - Basic Plot Outline Spoiler for Twilight War sequel.

As long promised, below was the full outline - along with a couple of half-finished scenes and a big prologue blurb - for The Twilight Shadow, the Penultimate "Twilight Struggle" story, and sequel to The Twilight War. These are mostly short blurbs, along with chapter names, and a general outline of the final set of events. I have other notes, but they're extremely rambly, and not terribly well

    Looking Back

Been a long time, hasn't it?

I know a lot of you have probably moved on, but I figured I at least owed it to the longtime followers - and continued readers - to finally check in.

    Another year passed.

So if you're wondering where I've been, here's the short version.

Living outside of a home of your own kinda sucks, and my new job is incredibly time and energy demanding.

The long version takes a bit more.

So this latest chapter... · 6:11am Jan 17th, 2014

Has kind of been like pulling teeth, you know? It's coming, I swear, just not easily. I may just have to accept this chapter coming out a shade subpar in the interests of moving the bloody story forward.

On the upswing, my Secret Clop Project is almost ready for prime time, and hopefully will make up for all of these delays to Twilight War.

Maybe I need to start a full blown side project, like I did during the end of Code of Harmony. Ergh. Whatever.

Update coming soon, I swear.

(Yes, I know Im the only one on this site to agonize not having updates all the time. Yes, Im weird.)

No, I feel the same way with how slow I'm updating that one story you like so much. Stupid work and money requirements...

Maybe I need to start a full blown side project

You have the Secret Clop Project AND Twilight Diaries. Those don't count? :derpytongue2:

1726574 Secret Clop is a collab project and is almost done.

And I meant something Non Twilight War related, to give me a palette cleanser.

Like I said, I am really wierd headed right now.

You are forgiven, but mostly because I secretly want you to write... or I want to write... Holo gettin' frisky with AJ.

... Or possibly certain other Apples who shall remain nameless. *cough*

Palette cleansers are always good. Granted that does mean waiting even longer to find out who Pinkie likes (I have my suspicions) and whether it is still true now that she is no longer in the thrall of the shadow (I suspect it is still true due to what Mrs. Cake said).

Though sometimes you need to just put something out there just to feel like you accomplished something. Heck you never know it may be better than you think (perfectionists and the like tend to never be happy even when it is good).
