I miss shipping...

APCD news starts down at the strangely-colored text, about halfway through. That color is called Twilight Sparkle, by the way.

I'm sitting here reading all these really good shipfics, like Mendacity, and Affliction of the Heart (again) and Within and Without (again, squared) and others whose names don't really pop into my head. Ribbons and Lace, Four of Two (for the billionth time), and Complicated Relations, Vindicated Depravity, and Faulty Hoofcuffs. But I realized something... I miss my shipping!

I mean, sure, I've got these stories and the vast armies of pony toys that I pretend ship when I get really bored but it's not quite the same, you know? My last projects have been The Ballad of the Cane, which I suppose is sort-of-kind-of-not-really-but-it's-heavily-implied Twilestia and A Pony Called Death. Those aren't shipping. I want my lesbians back!!

Calm elfy, calm elfy. Now, some of you may have noticed that I tagged A Pony Called Death, and are now wondering why the actual fuck I did so considering it isn't even really related to my lack-of-lesbian anger.

It's almost done.

Not being written, unfortunately, but I'm working on the last chapter right now. Er, like, 7 hours ago. Same thing, really. However, I've unleashed the editors on take two of the second to last chapter (there's a word for that. P-something) so hopefully that'll be out for you guys soon. From there, just the last chapter, and a short epilogue to wrap the bow on it, and start unwrapping a potential sequel way down the line. Then I can get back to mah lesbians!!

Or, you know, just start shipping again. For styling myself as a shipping author, I don't seem to do that too terribly often, really.

So, as you can see, it is a win for everyone.

P.S., I thought I blogged a lot, I mean, like, 170-ish blogs. Wow, I'm a talkative bastard. Then I looked over at Cloudy's blog and noticed his 370+. I don't feel so bad anymore.
