FimFiction Advanced has been updated. All options have been moved to their own tab and I have started working on changing the background image for the website. I've decided not to go with the anything you want model nor will I be returning all the old images that the site originally had. Rather I'm going to have a selection to choose from. People are welcome to suggest some backgrounds they would like. I'll also be adding some of my own. I already plan on adding a darker variant of the current image.
There is now an option to minimize the site banner and it will return when you hover over it.

Both require Greasemonkey for Firefox or Tampermonkey for Chrome

Both scripts have been updated to b versions. FimFiction Advanced received some fixes for the banner derping when snow is enabled, and the checkbox now shows the correct state. Extra Emoticons has had a fix for the comment box resizing.
For those who can't get the scripts to work. I'm sorry but they are working fine on my end. You'll have to try reinstalling all of them from scratch.

Also, for some reason, in order to post, the entire comment box has to be squeezed flat.
The old background images are still around (for now anyway). I spent a while earlier this evening downloading as many as I could guess the urls of. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Pinkie one, but I am hoping Knighty will point me at it.
Nothing happened, I uninstalled the old version too.
Now I'm only running the old version, and neither are working.

You shouldn't have to, the auto update usually takes care of that. But if is isn't working you can go ahead and reinstall.

Sorry, you have to reinstall every content pack for the emoticons script for it to update.
Edit: Ok, I think I found the source of the weirdness. It keeps making it self smaller. I'll have that fixed in the next release.
My background color is still the same color I made it, but the color changing option is just gone. It's not under settings. I did an uninstall and a re-install of the new version, still the same thing. No option to change my color
EDIT: Nevermind me, didn't see it under Advanced. Derp
Thank you so much! The first suggestion for a "solution" that I found involved the Firefox add-on "Color This Site", but their definition of what constitutes a background is pretty damn broad. The entire site was darkened.
I've got this now, and the site is much, much easier on the eyes... and I can still read the text.
