Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in getting the new chapter out (FYI, new chapter is mostly done, I'll have it out in like 48 hours.). The reason it's been delayed is because I've been busy this weekend working to bring the mature version of Five Score over to FimFiction. It honestly took me a good 12 hours to re-format everything (over 230,000 words), but I also was doing some final proofreading and story polishing along the way, so it was worth it. Anyways, hosting the mature fic here on FimFic is a necessity since FimFic rules no longer allow me to link out to NSFW material.
So, like I was saying, the mature fic is on FimFic now. So where is it? Well, its what we in the business call 'an unpublished fic'. FimFic won't allow me to publish both versions, since apparently having two versions of the same story published is banned because people used to abuse that method to have more shots at getting their fic on the front page. So, due to the sins of the past, I have to leave it unpublished. But, whatever, that's fine.
How do you get to the unpublished fic? Unfortunately, I can't link you to the story because, again, FimFic rules no longer allow me to link out to NSFW material. Apparently it's bad for the kids or something. But, don't fear! I assembled this step by step tutorial to guide you to the fic's location. Once there, bookmark that page or whatever and use it as your Mature Five Score destination.
Oh, but important note, since the mature version is "unpublished", the mature version doesn't have favorites enabled. You can favorite it, but it does absolutely nothing since the fic is unpublished. So if you want updates on Five Score, leave your favorite on the original Five Score. (Likewise, please give your upvotes to the main, public version of Five Score)

Okay everyone, calm down, the nightmare is over. Now I know I lost some of you guys in the confusion there, and you are all probably missing friends and family members that didn't manage to follow along. That was intentional. Remember, I'm not allowed to directly link you the story, because that would let people under the age of 18 have access to it. And, as we all know, no one under the age of 18 would have been able to follow those directions I just gave you. Thank god for these new rules, it keeps the mature stuff well out of the reach of minors!
Oh, and one small side note. Anon's name has been changed to Dave.
For everyone up to date on the fic, this doesn't affect the story at all, as Dash isn't even using human name anyway. I just changed it because people have been saying Anon is a stupid name for like 7 months, and I felt this was the ideal time to make the switch since I just reformatted everything.

I have one question... is there enough of a difference between two of them to alter the story in any way? I assume you update both at the same time?

And yes, Google Docs will remain online and I'll be updating that folder as it goes. I'd probably prefer to have people read it on FimFic now that it's transferred over, but I'll leave the Google Docs up since I know you guys are probably used to that by now. And since I write the new chapters in Google Docs, I might as well add the new chapters to the public Google Docs library.
That being said, I can't give you guys the link to the Docs anymore. But if you've viewed them at all in your past, just go to your Google Docs page and check your "recent documents" to find a link to Five Score.

I update them at the exact same time, and no, there are no story differences. The core story is 100% identical. The differences are just that the mature version has some added clopy scenes.
Example 1) The main character suddenly realizes he is now female.
In the PG13 Version: "Omg this is so, so wrong.... urgh, I think I'm going to puke"
In the Mature Version: "Awww yes, I've always wanted to play with one of these"
Example 2) Later on, a female pony and a male pony share a hotel room.
In the PG13 Version: "I'll sleep in this bed, you sleep over there. Good'night!"
In the Mature Version: "Hey baby... wanna try out these new bodies?"
That's the only type of difference. In both the above examples, once that scene ends both versions of the story merge back together and continue down the exact same path just like nothing different ever happened.
And I don't mean to say the mature version is a clopfic either, those "mature scenes" are actually pretty rare. There are only ~15 clop scenes spaced out through 30 chapters.

I wanna say just 4-5 chapters, but my chapters often get larger than expected so it might be 6 or 7.

As much as I cherish Five Score, the fact that I have to update it every two weeks means I can't write other, newer stuff.
Once Five Score is done I can write all the other stories I've been meaning to

I don't think that's entirely accurate. Version 2 has curse words, and version 1 has some really funny scenes the replace the clop ones. I have a friend who didn't like the clop but was reading the mature version anyways, and when I told him of some of the funny scenes he'd missed he felt really silly about it.

It's been a point of contention with a few people. Normally I wouldn't care what they were saying, but the fact is Anon is a name for self insert, greentext stories that are usually 1 chapter long. It's really pretty out of place in a ~250,000 word novel.
And I picked Dave because it's only two letters away from Dash.

That's true. Truth be told, depending on the section of the story, one version often beats the other. In the initial 5 chapters with the transformation first happening, the mature version is, in my opinion, much better because it feels more realistic. If you give a young guy a set of lady parts and then give him some privacy, he is going to experiment to see what they feel like. The PG-13 version seems a bit fake to me in that it's all just "oh, I'm female now? ...I'll just go on like nothing happened."
However, in the middle of the story, the PG-13 version might win out since there are some great alternate scenes. The Shining/Rarity romance is pretty great in the PG13 version since there is sexual innuendo everywhere but they just deny everything and you never see them actually have sex.
Anyway, both versions are great, you really can't go wrong at this point.
I was looking back just now, and the recent blogposts about the state of the ads have been deleted. You can see the links to both of them on fimfic's twitter. (Link One and Link Two.) Any idea what's going on now?

I think I might agree with you there. I personally read the mature chapter first while skipping over the clop, then go back to the PG-Tween version for the parts I missed. I could probably just stop reading the mature version by now, but it doesn't take much extra time to read both since I know what sections were changed in the chapter.
I know that when i was younger, those birthday checkers and pop-ups saying you need to be at least 18 never stopped me.
When I was 14, I'd add 4 years to my birthday, or just click yes that I was 18. I mean, oh noes! Think of the teenagers! They might actually click on a link to something mature! And then they might learn something about SEX! It's not like half of them aren't already doing it! No no no! They must be protected from this spawn of Satan until they are 18, at which point they shall be thrust into the world with no knowledge of anything unclean!

Aaah… so this is why the mature version doesn't show up in my bookshelves when I try to add it. It was all very confusing for a while. That means I have to add the teen rated version to my bookshelves if I want it to show up even though that's not the version I read.
