Update on the book printing! · 3:38am Jan 7th, 2020
(First off, if you were looking to order the book and missed the earlier window, order forms are reopened)
Right, as for all you patient folks who already ordered, I regret the slow drip of updates on this. Been a pretty chaotic past few months personally, and I've been shirking my duties in terms of updating everyone. The book project is still chugging ahead though, and it's also entirely out of my hands so messaging me about it won't get you any answers. So, who do you ask about this stuff? How do you know you didn't just lose your money to internet strangers? 
Well, thankfully, it's pretty straightforward:
>Avonder is the publisher, organizer, and the one in charge of billing, shipping, etc. If you have a question about your order status, or if your payment was rejected, etc, he's the one to message. Don't bother pestering him with questions about when the book will be shipped through. Because he has already done everything he can. Right now there is only one thing holding up the printing/shipping date. The art! In the poll we did earlier, you guys voted for us to put the maximum amount of art into the book. Which brings us to the second person needing to be mentioned here.
>Acesential, our artist, has been given the unenviable task of drawing 40+ fully shaded and detailed full size illustrations. And these art pieces are no fluff, take a look at this one of a scared and destitute Fiona hiding in the forest. That's a good ~12 hours of work just for the one image, and Ace has to draw over 40 of them! Granted, steady progress is being made, with 1-2 illustrations being crafted each week. So, we're getting closer to a final print date, but it's still going to be a few months. Right now optimistically we're looking at March. But if you're reading this blogpost in the future, you'll have a better idea of the timeline that me, because you can just check Acesential's Twitter or other social medias, and see exactly how far along the art progression is at any given time.

Damn, that art is honestly super impressive.
Still not fully thrilled on the slow timeline, but well, 40+ drawings of that quality are no doubt going to take a fairly long time to do properly, so I can't complain.

Ack. Was planning on buying this with the money from the stimulus check, but I just found out the order was closed. I'll keep some money just in case it gets reopened, because this was something I really wanted.

Thanks Avonder that looks amazing! Will there be another announcement when shipping date arrives? I'm not asking when it will be released I just want to make sure I get a heads up when it ships because my postage is odd and sometimes they send my stuff to a neighbor a street over and sometimes I get their stuff so I want to try to estimate the timing in case it all works out.
