There are two reasons for this post. Firstly, there won't be an update on Blizzards this week. Everything from the moment Cerulean wakes to the time where he and/or Twilight are broken from their reading daze, which still isn't finalized, is content that I have spent nearly six months working on, collectively. After nearly five different versions of chapter four and still nothing that I find satisfactory, I realized that it may be most effective for me to shoot for passable if only for the sake of time, and thus I hope not to spend too much longer tinkering with something absolutely vexing. The other side of things is that I fly out today to see my older brother be wed, so I'll be gone for nearly a week.
The second thing, and the reason for the title? Oh, right... Um... well, yanno how I rather like ponies? That may have trickled down to my dad, and he may have, um... written... a pony fanfic. No, you can't see it. Nopony should see it. It looks like the millenial punctuation celebration took place within a cruise missile production plant operating under the guidance of drunken monkeys with sledge hammers. If I work up the heart to attempt the daunting, possibly life-threatening task of editing, it may see the light of day. I just think it's funny that he wrote one.
I will likely attempt to write while on this trip, so with any luck, I'll figure out a clever and, more importantly, natural way to wake two bookworms from a reading daze long enough for them to notice one another. We'll see. Toodles!
I shall wait patiently for your next chapter, your dad's fanfic however.
Ill hunt it down, find it then post it here for everyone to see!
1486839 You can't. It was sent directly to Ceru via Wordpad, and... You do NOT want to see it... Please, just... You do NOT want to see it...
Can you at least tell what it's about, or who?
Your dad's fanfic is about ponies... nice!!! As for how you described it... so are all of mine!!
But just take your time until you think it's ready. It's going to be awesome either way!
1486846 Yes. Yes I do.
1486855 ... No, you don't. TRUST ME, you do not. It... Okay, you know how you don't like your writing? His dad's writing makes yours win every single possible writing award in the world. For several years.
Okay, maybe not THAT bad, but it... It's pretty close...
1486866 Oh. Fair enough. But then again, you didn't see me when I started! That story needs a massive edit!
Anyway, I'm off for another attempt at my fitness test.
1486869 I'll be praying for your success!

This is my response to both pieces of fanfic news
Great for you brother, so I shall not mourn the lack of Curu
Now I sign off and wait a little longer
for the next chapter, Twilean's love to bloom stronger
-Eclipse
I would love to read that, your dad's fanfic I mean. I'm also going to read Blizzard, though, but only once it's finished.
Hahaha, WOW. Cool dad
Swiggity swad, you have a cool dad.
Though I'm honestly still debating whether this should be awkward or not. Becoming aware that your parent writes fan fiction, that is. Just the idea in general is awkward.
That's pretty hilarious.
My god, if only my parents were as accepting to actually become bronies...
1486866 Well considering I used to proofread elementary school written assignments, I'm sure it's at least better than those But in all honestly I would still like to read it if possible, if for no other reason than to give some editing advice
Also, best. picture . ever!
1487540 Thank you, thank you... It's currently the cover-art of my Pokemon crossover fic. If you think my avatar picture is cute, then check out an even better one I commissioned later.
1487550 Best. Artist. Ever! Well maybe not, InuHoshi-to-DarkPen makes some pretty adorable fuzzy ponies
1487580 Fuzzy pones are the best, definitely, but they also tend to be much more expensive... CURSE YOU EXPENSIVE FLOOFY PONES! ; ;
I approve of everything in this post. Have fun at the wedding, don't forget to watch out for changelings, and hopefully inspiration will strike you while you're away (but not too hard, since writing while injured can be a daunting task).
As for your dad's story.....well, it may not be the next Allegrezza or Transcend, but the fact that he wrote one at all is pretty awesome.
1487583 aww that sucks Even though Chengar pretty much gets a free pic with every chapter of Life and Times, I guess you can't blame an artist for having reading preferences.
I had to stuff my fist in my mouth to keep from laughing. I'm at work.
