Several computer crashes and one nasty cold later... · 3:57am May 19th, 2015
...I am, theoretically, back online. This last week was rather hectic. First came the plague, which knocked me off of my feet for a few days and set me pretty far behind at work, but on top of that my computer's power supply decided that having a working fan was a thing of the past. Consequently, my computer kept releasing a scent somewhat reminiscent of one most easily replicated by sticking a calculator in a toaster oven. Needless to say, the power supply was too busy baking itself to keep the computer running. Now, however, I seem to have everything working again, so I should hopefully be able to post the next two chapters soon.
Sorry for the delay!
No worries, brah. Then again, you were able to keep me in the loop somewhat via Skype, so I guess that's easy for ME to say...
Good sir, take all the time you need. We'll be here to support you
Did you replace the PSU? Make sure you used a good brand because the vast majority of budget PSUs are fire hazard Chinese capacitor nonsense (literally, the non name PSUs can and will blow up in many ways)

And shooting blue flames out the back
If it's a laptop then forget about that but if it's a desktop you really need to make sure it's an Antec, Seasonic, EVGA, Corsair, Rosewill etc.
