It's less than twenty minutes since I uploaded the chapter as I write this blog and already there've been four comments. What are you marsupials smoking?

The purpose of the thread is for marsupials to be updated about my latest literary flounderings. It's also a place where I beg for criticism of my work so that I can improve it. So if any y'all visit, please don't spam it with anything else... unless you're making fanart. Cuz fanart is second best pony.
I really dig this once-a-week thing. Lyra fics that are updated once a week seem to do well on Fimfiction. I think that's a pattern, like Ric Flair's attempts at retirement. I have this vague dream that Background Pony will end up a twenty chapter animal once it's done. I already know how it finishes in my head, I just gotta keep the dayum thing interesting between here and there.

I'm reasonably sure he's not a robot, though I agree his rate of output is astounding. Sometimes even moreso than this example.

If the story ends with Lyra casting a spell to make herself the Executive Vice President of Equestrian Talent Relations and the permanent General Manager of both Raw and Smackdown, I will love you forever.
Seriously, more pony stories need to involve John Laurinaitis. He's Mr. Excitement, you know.
Anyways, already gave my thoughts on this chapter previously. Great work, but there is definitely stuff you have to work on...specifically in the category of "Poetically Beautiful vs Annoyingly Flowery".
This will be interesting to follow.

Wow. I always enjoyed me some Background Pony, but until today I haven't thought to check out your page. This post is so overflowing with witty snarkasm, I just don't know what to do with myself. I feel like reading all your other stories. I feel like following you to see what else would happen. I feel like doing so many things I've never done before. I'm worried. I feel like I might try skydiving. Right now. In the middle of my computer class, when I should be doing work rather than commenting on a pony fanfiction site. But there's a sub, so it's okay.
In the process of typing that paragraph, I have decided that I will indeed follow you, and read any other stories of yours that look interesting. Then maybe read more of your blog posts to see if I can overdose on smile.
