The format prior to this one was the first one I saw on FIMfic. I'm really saddened to watch it go, but I'm in the same boat as you. A week or two and I won't even notice, but the initial shock is something awful for me.

Yeah its the shock more then the color and change, we will get used to it but wish they allowed like 2 formats and you can pick from the options. If thats possible.

I don't see why it's not possible. If you can customize the way you view stories, alter the background, the font, spacing, etc... why not the whole layout?

Let's take solace in one thing, at least. FiMFiction doesn't change its shit every other day like YouTube does.

I can see some pragmatic application for some of the changes they made. There are some mechanical differences that I'm not too keen on, but I'll adapt. I'm indifferent to the cosmetic changes.

Some of the changes are nice, I kinda like seeing the groups a story is in, etc. However, like always, some changes just utterly blow.

I kinda agree with this journal. The old site looked better. *sigh* Why cant people just let websites be as they were? If its not broken, dont fix it. Heared about that before?

Yeah, i felt same. But after 30 minutes... i start to understand logic of new layout.
I still want and probably will redo some things via usercss, but I've seen a lot worse redesigns.
And FUCK. Where is Luna and Chrysalis emoticons????

Good one. I agree with you there. Apart from the background pic and the Luna banner I very much prefer the version of the website I used 6 months ago... Why oh why did they have to change it so...

There are some nice things about it... but nothing new that I find useful except to annoy me with.
