[IMPORTANT] Going away for a long while agin · 11:23am Mar 5th, 2013
So it's time for me to go back to the field for an extended period of time, very similar to what happened last October. Yeah, I'm gonna be gone for a while, and no, I will not have internet this time. Not any, at all. So don't expect me to do what I did last time with the creation of "When I see a world untouched by war", because it won't happen. Things have changed, and I'm in a different part of my squadron now as we prepare for deployment.
Speaking of preperations for deployment, Have some training related pics! (and no, I'm still not deploying. All my rage)
First off, let's take a look at the weather. This is just a little peak at the average day I experience here in Germany...
....Yeah, super. Oh, and what does it look like when the snow stops?
Well when the snow stops all we gotta do is clear it out of our motor pool... only problem is, with so much snow falling it is VERY difficult to get rid of it all. This is the result of our futile efforts.
Believe it or not, that pile is about 6 ft. tall. And yes, it's still there. I can see it from my barracks room.
But the army provides us with the cold and wet weather gear we need to pass through the snow and the freezing rain and all the other crap that we have to deal with. So, what do I look like in the middle of all this? Well, here's a picture of me in all my gear as I JUST entered my barracks room.
And no, that stuff laying around looking all messy is not mine. It is my roommate's, and my stuff is nice and organized and squared away. He is not.
Oh, well it's not all work and no play. Sometimes we create little cardboard and duct tape weapons in our free time... and by "sometimes" I mean only once. And by "we" I mean this one sarge I know that has no life. Here is the result:

Last bot not least, we got real world incidents... like idiot infantry guys thinking they go 15 mph into a parking space on top of a bunch of ice. HAH. Here is the result of their attempts:
