So, let's overanalise a single picture, shall we?
First of all, it's a picture of the Spy from TF2 - the charakter that fakes looking like someone else with a simple mask and getting away with it. Sometimes.
Next, you'll certainly notice that the Spy is happy - maybe because of the drug he is likely inhaling, maybe not - and that begs the question, WHY would a spy be happy and what would it mean for the readers of your story? But let's answer that later, we are still observing.
Then you'll notice the peculiar way the Spy is wearing his hat. It could mean that the Spy is really high and therefore acting silly - or just trolling even, but I'm sure it has a deeper meaning than that. He is likely rebelling against the way hats are being used 'normally' and may even rebel against the way clothes are worn generally. For a job that involves a lot of different clothes involved to fool others (or at least a handy set of masks) that kind of says a lot. Maybe the author is disgusted with all this attention to the story and might only write more when it strikes his fancy? Maybe the author is rebelling against the very fact that more views and more comments normally urge writers to write more content faster than they normally would? Only a definite answer would tell, but we are STILL just observing, not drawing conclusions here.
Finally, the background is black. Pure black with not even an ounce of white in it. From the whole discussion about colors I did way back then when me and my sister were in school, I know that black stands for seriousness, correctness but also for negativity in general. It is also worth mentioning that black technically isn't even considered a color even though it IS filling the background here. So this indicates definitely that this is NOT to be taken as a joke.
Now I am supposed to let the picture travel into my soul...now I'm being honest here, I have problems with that. I can't really connect to the Spy in any way that would allow such a connection. However if I were to attempt it, I would probably look like this girl here:

So I will refrain from connecting to this picture too hard for now. Maybe later, when I'm close enough to animals, say streaking foxes?
However from my various observations I will deduct this:
Streak the Fox takes great pleasure from telling his readers that he WON'T continue with this story. Why does he take great pleasure remains a mystery, maybe he likes to rebel againstany of the status quo's (of finishing a story/of listening to his readers/of writing more content so that followers of him might enjoy his work more/of writing sexy unicorn scenes/etc.) or maybe he is just unhappy with the story and can't find it in himself to continue with it. Or maybe he's just an asshole, which a fandom that preaches Love and Tolerance definitely won't be having.
Or it could mean that he is so much into TF2 that he just doesn't have the time to write more of the story despite it being a burning passion of his heart. The second picture might confirm that, seeing as it shows another TF2 character in there.
