Hey followers - you might recall that my girlfriend moonlights as the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well. Here she is at BronyCon last year:
We were discussing the events of last weekend, and she wanted to try to help raise money for those affected, so she has posted some fun rewards for bidders over at laspegassist.com.
If you're interested in trying to help out, great! If not, a signal boost on your own blog, Twitter, etc would be appreciated.
(If you have absolutely no idea what's going on, well... it's a long story. Bottom line is some bronies got completely shafted through no fault of their own at Unicon, and the community is trying to get together to help them out.)

I don't know what is going on, I read at the bottom the some people got shafted, anyone mind telling me what exactly happened? No need to be super detailed just the gist of it is all I need.

I'm not really sure, but I've heard that the con was shut down half way through, and that somewhere between $100k-$150k has disappeared, resulting in lots of violated contracts, people going unpaid, and others in debt. There may be some legal action taken by some people against other people. All of the above is unconfirmed hearsay.

Amusingly, she preferred being in the sun. It offers almost no insulation, so the A/C-cooled interior of the convention center was freezing for her.

874496 what that site is doing is amazing... not nesesarily good, but realy amazing one the less. i finaly found out about the max veers fiasco... poor dude.
ALSO: the ones behind the tumblr apear to be friends whit the dudes behind the "fucknomlp" which, from what i've heard, has bad reputation when it comes to news. they MAY make fake news or get biased at some point in the future.... but thats just my opinion and thoughs.
