I guess I should write something · 11:08pm March 16th
Well, as I mentioned, I guess I should at least write something.
I have not been writing a lot recently, and the small amount of pony words that went out, went into other stories and projects. I was planning to bring Still no Signal back to life in Christmas, but I got sick. And I have been trying to write recently too, but the small amount of time I can scrap to get myself to write I end up more often than not just reviewing what's already done and then stare blankly at the new page for ten minutes stright, and at that point I decide nothing productive is going to come out and go to sleep.
Is not a block or anything, just life trademark stuff going on. Nothing too crazy or world shattering, but you know... a compendium of little bad things that end up draining the energy out of me.
Writing requires energy, and when I am free I find myself out of it and I end up gravitating towards more mindless and stupid hobbies recently, like reading instead of writing or just playing videogames that require less brain power.
That being said, I have scraped around 80% of a new chapter that could be published soon-ish, but I get the idea that it could be better to just build up some buffer again so I can publish more regularly. And maybe not leave everyone just having to figure out what is this story that I just forgot existed popping out of nowhere again from time to time.
I am considering putting the story on hiatus, and come back into publishing regularly at the beginning of the summer. Say, like the 1st of July for the next chapter and then I hope I can manage to get again into a chapter every week or two. This story is completely planned out and I know how I want it to end, and maybe add some fluff in between as it goes on. With that I want to say that it is not a matter of not knowing what to write.
Also, on the possitive, Samuldog (I hope I got the name right this time!) is translating the story to Spanish and he has already catched up, so there is that, you can check it out here: https://www.wattpad.com/user/doge2415 , and also check some of his works. And also, Tincho Argentum ( https://www.fimfiction.net/user/602185/Tincho+argentum+9002 ) has told me he was interested in correcting mistakes, so I have the story being revised and maybe edited.
I am genuinely surprised this story got this much attention, and even some people offering themselves to correct and translate it. Thank you all for this.
So, back to the thing I guess. Should I put the story on hiatus until the summer? Is it a good idea?
I look forward to more. If you still need time, then I say don’t rush it. I’m really bad at focusing on writing… and reading. But if you have some inspiration, then don’t ignore it. Sometimes that stuff comes and goes on a whim. Good luck!

Take whatever time you feel you need, just please don't stop out of nowhere. To many writers are doing that.
Same thing with me. I'm dead in the water because of sleep issues and work issues.
