Well, merry Christmas to me

So, I was so keen on finishing work and enjoying the holidays and so on. I even had plans for updates!

But I'll tell you... this christmas dinner, and lunch, and everything in between? I couldn't eat anything. Seems like I have caught something and I've been having massive stomach aches and stuff. There was a point where I was literally pooping just the water I was drinking...

As of today, it is still going, and I can only eat bread, rice, bananas and drink a saline-sugary solution that keeps me kind of going. I got scared, went to the hospital, the hospital staff got scared too and examined me really quickly (I mean... I was expecting my regular 5-hours waiting time for our public health services for 'medical emergencies') And good news is that it seems I'm okay, mostly...

Seriously, I was scared because I've heard stories from friends and family where what starts as a mundane stomach cramp ends up being appendicitis or the such.

And also, not being able to have my darn coffee made my head hurt and got me double-tired. Ended up spending most of said time in bed... or in the bathroom.

Yeah... fun times, but well... such is life. At least the doctor told me to call in sick for work... yeah, just now that I'm on holidays, the irony. Darn it... I need a coffee, which I cannot have.
