    Updates on stories

For those of you that don't know, I'm what's known as an organic writer. That means I don't use an outline...I write as I'm inspired to do so, and the need to do so waxes and wanes. You all should also know that I'm under a doctor's care for BiPolar depression, which affects my mood and in turn sometimes disrupts my ability to write. So know that the long, long hiatus between

    At least they tried...

Even though they know Alex' special touch doesn't work on males, that doesn't stop some adventurous stallions from seeing if he'll...try batting for the other team...

Late one night, as Alex is sitting at home, alone, reading...

    Revised chapter of Choices

For those interested, I've revised and expanded the ending of Results to include an intense sexual encounter between Shining Armor and Zecora. This was done at the behest of a fan, and I thank him for his patience!

    Enjoy!

    Finally!

A Simple Raid? got approved a week ago for Equestria Daily! I don't have to tell you all what an honor this is, and it took months.

They rejected it at first for some errors they saw and had me correct, and there were quite a few. But after many corrections, it was finally approved.

So know that the long, long hiatus between chapters is due largely to these factors, and that I haven't given up on any of my popular stories.

Here are the updates: I have been working on Estrus Among Us for the past two weeks now, re-reading it to remember every nuance and incorporate those that are necessary for the next chapter. I have just over 4K words written, but I suspect this upcoming chapter will be much bigger, as there are some threads that need snipping as well as some new characters that will need to be introduced. This may be a dark chapter, for I always like to inject a bit of reality into my stories, and I'm thinking that there may be some ponies who aren't too thrilled with the prospect of hybrid ponies suddenly appearing around Town, any more that Humans would if we saw them walking around our neighborhoods.

Fall of Equestria: Choices is a tough one. That story is physically and emotionally draining to write, for it deals with subjects and issues that are extremely uncomfortable for me, with little opportunity for humor to lighten the load. Being a victim of molestation when I was a child myself makes it very hard sometimes to write about rape and non-consensual sex, but I feel an odd, unexplainable compulsion to finish this tale, warts and all. Maybe it's cathartic, or maybe I'm just crazy.

Who knows?

In any case, it is my intention to stay true to the Fall of Equestria universe and allow events to transpire as I imagine they would, keeping the Caribou the ruthless, unapologetic rapists and conquerers they are, yet having them face an enemy that is just as determined to win. There'll be victories and losses on both sides, and at this point, no matter whom it is you root for, I can't promise a happy ending. I have not made any progress on the next chapter for this tale as of this writing, as I'm concentrating my efforts on Estrus right now, but I'll work on it after I get the next chapter out.

Blight Control is actually a pet project, one that I could finish in a week if I weren't so bogged down with everything else. That one is a lot of fun to write, but I'm currently stuck on a scene with Twilight and the humans, and it simply doesn't feel right just yet.

Same with A Generous and Kind Welcome! I think just have too many irons in the fire right now, (along with some RL shit I'm dealing with), to spend time on that one, so it's on hold for now.

Naughty Nursery Tales is just plain fun to write! It's silly, it's funny, and it's a welcome break from the utter bleakness of Choices, so I might get the next chapter out before too long. That chapter is called The Princess and the Penises! and it deals with a certain purple unicorn and her having to prove she's a real "Princess"...in the sexiest way possible!

...farther from the limelight... was a tale I took on with permission from the original author, and that's another bleak one. I have over 2K words for the next chapter, but I've been holding off on publishing it as I can just feel there's more to that chapter yet to tell. The two new mares have adjusted to their new lives, (with WAY more enthusiasm than was expected!), and Trixie has taken the younger one Margalo "under her wing," so to speak, but Trixie's still trying to find a way to earn her freedom. At this point, her only hope is that older pony she met.

But Slick finds out about him.

Finally, I want you all to know that I truly, truly appreciate you all for reading and commenting, be the comments negative or positive. I only draw the line at two places: when someone tries to rush me, (when'sthenextchapterwhen'sthenextchapterwhen'sthenextchapter?!) or when someone tries to tell me to change part of my story to suit their personal preference.

No, and no.

Thanks again for sticking around, and I hope you'll continue to enjoy my work.

Thanks for the update. Don't stress too much; your mental health is more important.

That's a shame, but looking forward to reading more of this story when it gets updated.

I too have Bipolar disorder, so I know the struggle of the ups and downs of it.

"I'm what's known as an organic writer." does that mean you're also a human?
