It's the obligatory new year blog post. · 12:33am January 1st

And yes, I am posting this at around midnight on new year. I have a nasty cold, so I decided to disobey nurgle's one command and stay home.

2023 has been a definite year. A complete 365 days of existence. 52 weeks of things that have happened. 12 months of events. I came home. I lost and found work. I wrote precisely 2055 words in the entire year (including this 180. 2024 is going to start with a new mattress and a new light in my office, and god willing it will end after the completion of No Room for Regret and/or And The Stars Shine Forth. This is my promise to myself.
