Not sure how much of this I can pin on Equestria Daily promoting Opaline Formation yesterday, but my follower count managed to pass another centennial milestone. As ever, I'm deeply grateful to those who choose to spend their time reading my silly stories. It's always fun to see a string of notifications as someone goes through the back catalogue and discovers my work for the first time.
On a largely unrelated note, Impending Sovereigns IV judging is proceeding apace. Some scores are already in, and my own will be shortly. Thank you for your patience.

Because I am a statistical nerd, I am obliged to note that between there being four judges for this one as opposed to three, and four less stories, the odds of placing are higher*. So… there's that for those gung-ho on placing?
* The former is cancelled out by 2021 having a tie for both 1st and 3rd, meaning 2021 did effectively have 7 prizes. Still four less stories (27 to 31) does give one a 25.93% chance over 22.58%. And that's without accounting for folks who wrote more than one story, and can thus only place once.
[Yes, I also know story quality is what matters, and less stories usually just means less of the so-so entries, so it doesn't actually get easier. Let me have my moment of maths!
