All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.
With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.
That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.
5734711 Not try to milk his step-father's disappearance so he can get concert tickets for free (even though he's directly related to a billionaire and is therefor presumably quite wealthy) instead of comforting his now widowed mother? Especially when they were still searching for the sub. 5734696
5734724 In defense of the internet (including you guys), if people were making fun of the teenager who went on a vacation with his Dad on Father's Day only for both of them to die in a accident, that would be terrible. But (for the most part), people aren't talking about that. Instead they're (mostly) talking about a short-sighted and greedy CEO, who ignored concerns from fellow Oceanographers, fired people for having the gall to remember that safety standards exist, and then lying about said safety standards to customers. (Oh, and also controlled the sub with a frickin' game controller).
i feel bad for everyone on that sub except for the
CEO for cheaping out on marital and safety on that sub fuc that guy for sure you get what you fucking deserve for not being safe and not respecting the awesome power of the ocean
5734726 So basically someone who grew up as a spoiled richie-bitch and all he knew was being a spoiled richie-bitch should suddenly stop acting like a spoiled richie-bitch?
That's not going to happen unless he finds himself dropping down several tax brackets.
The guy who owned the company and ignored all safety concerns and/or fired anyone who voiced issues with safety is going to be in a world of lawsuit pain for several years.
5734734 The CEO was the pilot on the sub, he was the one giving the tours. Like I said, I don't feel bad for him for feeling the consequences of his own stupidity, I just feel bad for everyone else who had to suffer because of him.
Sort of reminds me of The Expanse. It's a book series set in a future where humanity has colonized the solar system, and it delves into the sociopoltical tensions between Earth, a militant Mars, and the many colonies scattered across the asteroid belt and the outer planets at a time when they discover a dangerous, poorly understood piece of technology from a long-dead alien race. The Belters (people who live in the asteroid belt and outer planets) spend most if not all of their lives aboard space stations and ships, where failure of the vessel in question means the death of everyone on board. And there's a bit of narration from one of the later books that I think the CEO would've done well to learn beforehand.
Belters were viciously independent, but they also understood what it meant to rely on the community around them. Skipping a seal replacement didn't only risk the life of the slack bastards who'd cheaped out on their work. Failure meant the death of everyone on the crew.
ENEMY PENTAKILL
I've never seen a tragedy speedrun its time in the spotlight to memes into overabundance in literal days before.
It's actually quite impressive. It's gotta be an academy record.
Eh, it was just Darwinism in action. You are good, we all need to laugh at this one.
To be fair, it's hard to fell bad for somebody when ever their own family doesn't seem to care.
Don't worry, most of us will be going to Hell for one reason or another.
Killtacular!
So let me get this straight. You lived through Cards Against Humanity, but this reserves you a seat in Hell?
Besides, I've seen worse.

Did you see they pulled parts of the sub out of the water today. Man… it’s really sad

Yup.
Now I'm seeing YouTube ads for a Titanic exhibit in Manhattan. Damn, imagine if these were running a few weeks ago.
