State of the Writing · 4:14pm Jun 22nd, 2023
I'm not doing a full state of the author thing here, obviously... suffice it to say that life is still good, though challenges still abound.
Health and finances continue to be my bugbears, and of course that affects my writing (alas). With chronic exhaustion and memory challenges, story creation may not be hard, but sitting and typing for long periods of time can be.
However, as the Great Sage pointed out, it's fine to slow down so long as you don't stop.
So, more and more of The Last Changeling War continues to be fleshed out, and I am continuing to focus on the Interlude and upcoming chapter. Both of which should be published soonish.
I'll also be publishing a little more of Mr. and Mrs. Cake's Crosstime Bakery, The Most Shameless Nonclop Ever Told, and Taking Back Canterlot here and there, but that'll be a little longer.
Still way, way behind on my reading, a situation which distinctly causes a vacuum. But, see above Sage commentary.
All in all though, my complaints are relatively few. I have good friends, good family, a working laptop, and am surrounded by books.
Life continues to be good.
