    Star Wars Update

    So, I do have Chapter 12 in the works for Star Wars - Hope in the Force. It should be out today or tomorrow. For those that are interested, here's a sneak peak/synopsis.

    Darth Vader, having caught onto the trail of Kyris Marchen and his troops, sends his assassin, Starkiller, alongside Captain Eclipse, Proxy, and two Imperial officers, to eliminate the lost Jedi.

    Death Battle Birthday Present!

    So, my Birthday is coming up real soon. September 11th, to be precise, so about two weeks 'till I'm 23.

    But this isn't a blog post about my birthday.

    This is about the next DEATH BATTLE and the next two combatants, who are none other than...

    DISCORD and BILL CIPHER!

    What a lovely present!

Original Content and Story Notes for the Division 2 - From Ashes · 5:58pm Apr 20th, 2023

Let me start off by saying that Chapter 2 is in the works, and will be out soon. Apart from that, I also have some neat concepts for gear/skills/weapons that will be in the story, along with some plot and setting details. Without further ado...

1. The Equestrians will become EQG style humans, and will have access to a limited scope of magic as well. Essentially, unicorns and alicorns won't have access to their full scale of their magic. So no giant energy beams or massive scale feats will take place based on magic. It'll be small scale stuff , like short-distance teleportation, magic-enhanced rounds, skills, and body armor, limited-scale beams of energy, among other smaller effects. In short, the Equestrians must learn to use both human tech and weaponry along with their own magic.

2. Princesses Celestia will not be going to Earth, as Princesses Twilight and Luna will handle leading the field operations and general command respectively. Sunset and the Equestrian Elements will act as intermediaries for Manny Ortega and Alani Kelso

3. The Equestrian Expeditionary Force, like I stated above, will wear a combination of their usual plating along with human body armor. As such, I have developed a combat rating scale of 1-10 to measure how effective each combatant, whether human or Equestrian, or good or evil, will be in this story.

And now, some new Skill variants that will be featured one way or another in the story.
====
1. Trophy System Decoy - This Decoy intercepts incoming grenades, rockets, and other explosives, and reduces the damage from what projectiles it can't intercept while active. Currently supports up to 7 charges.

2. Cluster Sticky Bomb - Functions similar to the Firewall specialization's Cluster Grenade, this Sticky trades damage for the ability to hit multiple targets and better area coverage.

3. Disruptor Chem Launcher - A Chem launcher loaded with canisters of modified tear gas that confuses enemies and deals slight damage over time.

4. Flasher Combat Shield - This shield is similar to the Crusader, only it exchanges the weapon mount for a rechargeable flash array that blinds targets in front of it.
====
Also, there will be a magic-based skill called the Index, which can be modified to work with either SHD tech or Equestrian magic, with these following effects. It is essentially a magical crystal encased in a SHD-marked protective case, with wires that connect to the Agent's ISAC shoulder brick for activation. They provide a large buff in exchange for a small debuff, and the risk of shocking the agent if used too many times in succession.

Enhancer Index- This variant increases the user's weapon performance, target acquisition, and bullet knockback, but decreases weapon handling, along with slightly imparing the user's armor.

Defender Index - This variant allows for a frontal energy shield that stops incoming damage similar to a SHD Defender Drone. However, the shield is less effective from the side and against explosives. The agent's move speed is also slightly impaired.

Sensate Index - This variant acts as an enhanced Remote Pulse, constantly highlighting targets at a greater range. However, this skill reroutes power from the agent's Scan-Tek, so the local area minimap and directional threat markers are disabled.

Technical Index - This final variant greatly increases the capabilities of all other SHD Skills, giving them greatly increased efficiency and performance. However, this index increases the skills' recharge time by half of the normal time, and will damage any deployed skills by 10% before the index takes affect.

So, what do you think?

Nice to have thought out of this.

you really took some time to think this out, huh?

The only really point of curiosity (from me anyway) is the fact that the Technical Index BOTH damages skills before even taking affect AND increases their cooldown.

Is the increase granted really so great to warrant such a comparatively significant, yet still equally comparatively small debuff?

also, would Earth Ponies-turned-humans be naturally stronger than normal humans, and likewise would Pegasi be more agile?

This is still WIP, so I am still working things out. Also, I am not sure if the Equestrians will have those bonuses.
